Pocket Dollhouse 3.0 went online on September 10, 2025, the first time I made my own layout and coding with no templates, now we are on Pocket Dollhouse 4.0! I can't believe it hasn't even been a year and I already revamped the site, not because it is an insane task or anything but because I'm so slow at anything I work on, I always jump from project to project without really finishing anything. Working on this site comes really easy to me, it's a great distraction and it really keeps my mind occupied on those nights when I can't sleep but I don't want to overthink either. Before I even notice, the sun is coming out, it's amazing!
It's always fun to come up with stuff, I feel like I still have more stuff planned than my ADHD and my free time can manage, which makes me really excited! Obviously I'm really far from being a pro at coding, but I'm happy with what I can do right now, who knows how long it'll take for me to want to revamp everything once again
At first, I wanted to go for a more non-conventional structure, going full in the toy catalogue inspiration, but I really enjoy the structure of traditional sites, with a navbar and information everywhere, moving images from everyone's buttons and stuff like that, maybe in the future when I have more graphic creativity I'll make something like that! In the meantime I'm happy with v4!
As for right now, the news are:
You can peep the early sketches here, but pay no mind to my grammar! The main inspiration or concept was the information on toy boxes, especially from Sylvanian Families, that's why the landing page art has a Sylvanian Families dollhouse featured!
This might be all for this update! Really happy with the stuff I've made and really excited to keep working on the site TuT! As for the future: I want to revamp a few remaining pages, I think the only ones that might stay the same are on repeat and my medialog. About me, sitemap and my art gallery are a priority mostly my art gallery, add tags and descriptions, make it a bit more accessible if I can x_X Just like my sitemap my about page feels a bit outdated, I also want to add the rest of the girlies and their info, I'm even thinking about their little contained lore!
I've been thinking of adding something from WidgetStar too, but haven't decided exactly what I'll like to add and how I would use it, maybe comments and reactions for my art, but we'll see :-3 I've also have some stuff to move, mostly assets that I had on filegarden like fonts or random images, but that'll be a task for later, I need a break from my site for now @_@!
Thanks for reading and thank you for visiting! Please stay lucky!

Welcome to my archive! I'll give you a little tour through the history of this silly site , feel free to open the images in another window to look closely!
If you been on my neocities profile you might have noticed that pocketdollhouse was created all the way back in 2023, this is because I've trying to make my site for a while but I always failed because I've never been too savvy on css or html and I have difficulty with learning almost anything, most of the time I can't follow tutorials or learn from lessons, so I quickly gave up, tried a few times more but failed.
Around may from last year (2024) I got a decent desktop computer, and around this time I was also looking for a place to host info about my oc's since carrd was very limited, so one of the things I tried to do with somewhat of an upgrade was trying out this whole site thing again. One of my friends had told me about fool lovers templates before so I thought "Why not give it another go?", and I did!
You can see from these screenshots that I mostly wanted to just make an archive for my original characters, their stories and my art >XD
These are the earliest screenshots of my first attempt, dated August 2, 2024! I kept working on it the following days until August 10, when pocketdollhouse actually went online for the first time, and has stayed online since! As a last fun fact, pocketdollhouse was a name that I decided on a whim lol I just wanted to see how neocities worked and didn't really thought I would make too much with it, and don't get me wrong, I don't hate my site's name! But it's funny that I just didn't really put that much thought onto it, it was just basically "Okay, I'm Milky Pockets, and I like dollhouses.....so pocket dollhouse it is."
This was the first version to go online, I used Fool Lovers template n-123b and everything was super SUPER broken, on mobile everything looked even WORSE! but I tried to do the most with what little I knew, and I was just so excited over the fact that I was actually starting to make my own site. The way that I managed to make a sidebar despite the template being of only one column made me so happy back then LOL, breaking the template it's mostly what helped me understand how stuff worked.
The idea for the background made with doodles by my friends was something that I had done before back when I still used carrd, and is also something that probably won't ever change on my site's homepage. Sometimes I work on my site when I'm self-isolating so having a reminder that I have such amazing friends in my life makes me feel less lonely :-)
Some offline changes followed, nothing too crazy and nothing that convinced me enough to keep, but it helped me to get some practice and see what I actually wanted to do or not.
I tried another template once again, this time n-018, I liked how this came off so it stayed for a while! And as you can see I also started to break and change lots of stuff, at this point I started asking myself why not just try to do everything on my own? So I started to do some pages I had planned just to kinda test the waters.
I feel like I've been trying to finish this page for ages, and while revisiting this archive page I can see why, it's been over A YEAR and I still haven't finished it lmao T_T my procrastination knows no bounds!
Sunkissed is one of my favorite oc ships and since I already had an idea of what kind of vibe for the shrine I wanted (and also because of my hyperfixation hehe) I thought it was a nice place to start to learn to do my own stuff. This page hasn't been discarded obviously, but this was the first draft, and since it was the first page I actually made from scratch I thought it would be nice to add it to the archive :-)
Following a heartbreak because I lost my pocket camp account of many years, I decided to stop crying over spilled milk and start a new game while also writing about it, I only stopped updating it because I forgot to screenshot the stuff I was doing in-game x__X just as with the Sunkissed Shrine I wanted to archive it here because it was nice and cute as practice, maybe one day I'll fix it, add some more stuff and put it back online, although I don't play Pocket Camp nearly as much these days y_y
Version 3 landing page and first and final versions, nothing too crazy between them besides some minor tweaks, I remember I added that "Usagi. FUNNY RABBIT" image just as a placeholder while I came up with something else to add there but it just stayed that way >XD
I always knew that I wanted to change this version, not because I hated it or anything! but because the more stuff I made the more I wanted to rework everything with what I had learned. Of course the jump between v3 and v4 is nothing too crazy but seeing what more I can do makes me really happy TuT It was also at this version that Lucky was born as the mascot of the site!
