Natural Born Yapper

Dang, you expect me to read ALL of that?

Just wanted to make an entry here even if the site is not online yet to test. I'll probably talk about the site development and just my usual life over here.
erm... I am currently 07 days without going outside!!

Why Pocket Dollhouse?

Since I was a child I've been a big dollhouse fan, every christmas my dad used to take me to the toy aisle to pick my own gift (lol) and I would almost always pick a dollhouse, specially the Barbie ones. The first I remember having was a Barbie Dreamhouse, don't remember exactly which one but it was pretty close to this. Wasn't my favorite one ever but it was one of my firsts ones ever! So it lives in my memory.

From then on I don't exactly remember the order, but I do remember a few more I had.

Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi Rocking World Tour Bus

I LOVED THIS ONE! And it was one of the few toys I knew I wanted since seeing on TV! I remember playing with this one the whole christmas night I was just ENAMORED. Not only the bus by itself was great but the Ami Yumi dolls were SO CUTE!! I'm missing it just by writing this T__T.

Fisher Price Loving Family Country House

My mom and I used to go to the flea market every weekend, I loved these days! I remember being excited for seeing new toys or checking out if they got new Naruto posters lol, not to mention, the food! Me and my mom also were a bit distant in my chilhood days since she was more busy with my younger brother, so these days were for us and us only.
One day I found this one dollhouse and it was one of my favorite dollhouses EVER! I remember thinking I had buyed just the dollhouse only to open it and finding out it had FURNITURE! These sweet and super cute pieces inside! That was my biggest treasure found in the flea market, even now I look at it online and still love it so much.

Barbie My House.

This was the last christmas gift I got from my dad and my God it was my favorite dollhouse EVER. By this point I didn't had my Barbie Dreamhouse around anymore but even though this one was way smaller it was ENOUGH! Between this one and the fisher price I noticed that I liked the smaller ones waaaay more than the bigger ones, and that was probably why I wasn't that much of a fan of the Dream House. Not to mention that, as the box said, it had LOTS of things! I don't think a lot of online pics make it justice.
Sadly, as a said before, this was one of the last things my dad gave to me, I'll probably still have it -and the Fisherprice one- around and took care with all my whole heart if our lives didn't went to shit a bit after. But what can you do?

So, what do all of this have to do with the pocket dollhouse? lol, sorry.

I think what I wanted to say was about dollhouses is that... I like them a lot! I love miniatures in general, small places, small spaces. To draw stuff like that, taking like 3 hours to make a dollhouse on The Sims only to play living mode for like 20 minutes, decorating every game that give me a room. There's that sense of comfort, and, in a sense, I feel like creating oc's and giving them a story is just my grown-up version of playing with dolls, so in a website that it's mostly dedicated to feel like a place of my own it fits perfectly that it would be a dollhouse, the "pocket-sized" is just like a mix with my username, Milky Pockets. lol
